Know Your Mushrooms is the latest film from counter-culture documentary filmmaker Ron Mann (Grass, Go Further) and investigates the miraculous, near-secret world of fungi. The film follows uber myco visionaries Gary Lincoff and Larry Evans (two of the more expert and unforgettably mercurial characters in the community) as they lead us on a hunt for the wild mushroom and the deeper cultural experiences attached to the mysterious fungi.

Coraline is the first stop-motion feature ever to be filmed in stereoscopic 3D, adapted for the screen and directed by Henry Selick, director of The Nightmare Before Christmas and James and The Giant Peach.
Based on the best-selling children’s classic by Neil Gaiman, Coraline is a fairy-tale nightmare about a young girl who walks through a secret door in her new home and lands in the “Other World”, an alternate version of her life and family. This new world seems better at first, but the fantastical adventure turns dangerous when her “Other” parents try to keep her there forever and she must try to escape.
This is one of the best films ever to utilize 3D filmmaking and contains some of the most psychedelic visuals in a 3D film to date. The placement of what looks like Liberty Cap mushrooms in several strategically important locations are obviously an homage to the element influential to the visuals in the movie.
See it on a 3D TV when it comes out July 21st on 3D Blu-Ray.
